Bey Hamam is close to Panagia Chalkeon and the Roman Forum. It was built by sultan Murad II in 1444 and it is one of the most important ottoman monuments of the city. The hamam was separated into areas for men and women and was used until 1968 (known as “Paradise Baths”). Today it is used as cultural events and exhibitions.
