The Ancient Olynthus is built on two hills, at the Gulf of Torone, near the neck of the peninsula of Pallene, about 2.5 kilometers from the sea and 10 kilometers from Potidaea. There is a small museum featuring artifacts recovered from Olynthus, and the whole archaeological site is open to public tours during daylight hours.
