Mykonos

What to see and do
Visit the Alefkantra region or Little Venice of Mykonos, in the capital town - also known as Chora of Mykonos - in order to admire the colourful traditional buildings which have been built right on the sea's edge with their balconies overhanging the water. Do not omit to visit the historical sights of the island; the characteristic Armenistis Lighthouse, built in 1891, the impressive Mykonian tholos tomb near the Lytra hotel, the Neolithic settlement of Ftelia and the Gates of Mykonos near the Plati Gialos beach. And of course you should pay a visit to the most famous landmark of the island - the Mykonos windmills.
