The Acropolis of Rhodes is at the highest part of the city. It was not fortified like most ancient acropoleis and it is consisted of Sanctuaries, large temples, public buildings and underground cult places. The whole of the Acropolis has not yet been excavated. Apart from the temples the visitor can see the restored Odeon and the ancient stadium.
