Rotonda

Description

Rotonda was named after its circular shape. The building’s usage was changed many times. It was built in the time of the Emperor Galerius, in the first decade of the 4th century A.D., as a temple and has many similarities to the Pantheon in Rome. At the end of the 4th AD century was converted into a Christian church and a mosque in 1590 and is converted back to church after 1912.
